CHAPTER 10
• SURPRISES
My mother was gone for three days, and then when I was meditating, she appeared in a golden light. She has been with me ever since and assists me in the healing room.

Her presence is wonderful because she makes me feel such joy. When my gifts first started coming to me, she helped me pay attention. Things were happening in my body or my third eye that I didn't always understand. I noticed I could find things faster, and it became easier to discover areas in the person 1 was healing that needed to be addressed.

I also began to hear more sharply. When 1 had first started healing, I wasn't sure what to do, and since I didn't trust what 1 was hearing, I used a pendulum. According to the answers I received, I'd start putting energy in and asking for guidance.

Then one day I walked into the healing room without my pendulum — I didn't even realize it wasn't with me. I simply walked over to the person on the table, saw what was going on, felt that area, and started channeling energies where they were needed. The person would say, "I didn't tell you where the problems were, but that's it — right where you've got your hands. You're right on it!"

People Who Make a Difference: Mary-Margareht Rose: Sedona Icon

Rev. Mary-Margareht Rose is the Founder and President of the Earth Mother Father Healing and Meditation Center.  For nine years, it was located in West Sedona, and was a place of sanctuary for people from all over this country and beyond. Her compassion, wisdom,and gifts of healing and spiritual insight drew many seekers to her door; she is truly a Light Being!  She has long been a beloved presence in Sedona. The Center was an oasis of peace and serenity for those in need of guidance or healing energy, and she made everyone feel welcome. In late 2004, the property she had leased for almost a decade was sold, and she then conducted her Sunday Gatherings, classes and holiday feasts for two years in Cottonwood; but now, happily, this renowned Sedona healer is back in Sedona.

“Thank you God! Thank you Angels! Thank you God!” were the first words out of Mary-Margareht’s mouth as her car came to rest after careening off an embankment and rolling three times end to end.

It was Sunday, January 23rd (2005). Mary-Margareht was on her way to Santa Cruz, CA to meet with clients, a trip she has made regularly for twenty five years. Usually Matthew drives, but that trip he stayed home and she was driving herself. It was a beautiful day; she was singing happily when suddenly the front tire blew. The car spun uncontrollably and she found herself propelled into the Tyson Semi truck in front of her. Seconds before the first impact, Mary-Margareht felt huge angel wings around her and she knew she was not alone.
